Track preparation
Hello there from Dubai!
In a month, hopefully Dubai temperatures will get rather cooler and I plan to start tracking my RCF regularly. My first mode will be semi slick tires like Michelin Cups which will be some investment.
What else with reasonable budget do you suggest? Please consider that the RCF will continue to be the daily drive and I love the comfort/sport balance and NA V8.
Normally I would focus to the brakes (better compound for frequent braking?), air-intake (maybe helping for cooler amb temp), firmer sway bars? And probably switch to race cats if sound does not get racer level.
Looking forward for the experienced track fans, no guesses please. Choice of brand would be great.
And if any UAE member here (local or expat), please shout
I think first try out the stock setup on the track with racing slick tires especially as you are learning the car. You can post videos on here for feedback. Track tires will make a big difference. See how it works with manual/sport+ and TVD in track mode. I would say first thing is to add a full catback exhaust as it would make it more fun with a lot more sound and also add more power/torque (around 20 whp) so it will give you better ability to power out of corners and on the straights to accelerate.
If you want to go more aggressive then coilovers and additional bracings and stiffer bushings can be worth the investment. I think with racing slicks on and you learning the car properly on how to exploit the limits, would make it plenty fun.

brake pads, maybe your brake fluid too... but for sure tires is a must... I used to take my IS F to the track... I m going to take my RC F soon, when my schedule permits... tape ur front hood... i hate rock chips...g luck and have fun...
Beyond normal track prep like tires, fresh brake fluid, and possibly higher friction pads, the number one absolute must is swapping the front lower control arm bushings.
RR has good urethane ones that are a good compromise between road and track.
If you find yourself still eating front tires on the inside, I would recommend going to solid bushings. Figs engineering makes them. Or just get those to begin with. I don’t think they degrade the ride quality that much compare to the RR ones. I’ve had both.
Next mods should be handling related as the rcf has plenty of power imho.
1. Lighter rotors would give better front end steering response plus increase torque some.
2. If you find yourself chewing up front tires on the outside, you will need upper camber arms to increase camber.
3. Square set up wheels to help reduce understeer would be a big plus but a big investment since you’ll probably end up buying wheels and tires. This will save your front tires some too.
4. May be a high quality coilover set up?
Good luck! Happy to see more folks tracking the rcf

Checked figs online store but no solid bushing for RCF unless I looked wrong. Interesting that the solid is still comfortable as urethane. How wit compare to OE?
And what lighter rotors you mean?
Thanks
For fluid I'll go Motul racing but how about upgrade pads? Any advice as track has quite frequent turns with less cooling straights. I used in the past EBC but even track version but they did not last much for a similar heavy car I had before.

i used to have the project mu... but i believed they're been discontinued. check with speedfreaks, they're vendor in our forum. the project mu, it's less dust compared to oem, but it needs to warm up to get that nasty bite when you apply the brake...
Hi Mingofish. Clipped your message for where I need better understanding please.

The solid bushings are made to order. Call Figs and they’ll get you set up.

Two piece rotors like the Griodisc ones from RR or Racing brake ones that Figs sell. Both solid products.
Thanks

Castro SRF fluid better than motul by a good bit.
