Seats?
Just trying to get all my cleaning stuff in order prior to the car getting here. What type of cleaning supplies do you guys use for the seats?
Cleaner? Conditioner? Not talking about a treatment, but when you wash the interior of the vehicle. What do you all like to use?

LEXOL leather conditioner and cleaner, by far the best product out there...not owned by Lexus, coincidence.
Very good with premium, natural leathers.

There is an entire forum with sticky for maintaining Lexus leather:

Lexol isn't necessary as the leather is coated. If it were open grain, Lexol would have an edge, but it isn't, so it doesn't. I use their cleaner only because it is very mild and works well on the coated leather, but the rest of the system has no advantage over just drying the leather after using the cleaner. Sad, but true.

Used to use on lesser quality leather, now I generally use a wrung out hot chamois and wipe it down. Just don't use the greasy/shine type products.

I would say Lexol if you want to go to a store and get it. But Lexol is not the end all be all. People say it is because it's displayed in high line dealerships. They are many others. Jax Wax and Adams polishes have really nice products.
Also I suspect that Lexol has changed their formula.
I have been detailing since 1995. Basically every make in car and have used loads of different products.

I bought some of the 303. Will try it out this weekend.
I like the seats a lot - style and comfort but worry about long term care. The material seems really soft.

Do you know if you have the optional leather or the standard Nulux? If you have the baseball stitching in the middle of the seat then it is leather. From what I heard, it happens due to getting in and out of the car as the door sills for rigidity are very thick and the bolsters on the side of the seats are high, it makes the person graze through the seat surfaces, which over time can lead to wear and tear. You might want to try getting the dealership to replace them.
