me likey... is that AEM "sticker" on the intake pipe removable, or did they clear over it? I would love not to have the gaudy sticker look and just have the subtle AEM deboss on the CF lid do the talking when opening the hood.

It appears to be removable. I agree with you and the logo just on the lid would be perfect.

since the stock air box was removed do you lose the grunty sound that comes on after 4k rpm?

"grunty" sound is pretty much always there. No more baffle waiting to open. The sound coming into the cabin from artificial noise maker or speaker is hard to hear now. Unlike some other intakes I've had before on other cars, I don't hear a sucking sound at idle. Not sure if this filter element or design has anything to do with it.

New product from AEM/K&N. Final product will have a lid to enclose filter element (possibly carbon fiber lid)

. Dyno results look good. Peak gain of 18whp at 5900 rpm.

This is exciting!!! I love seeing more products being available for us. The carbon fiber enclosed box looks incredible. Great quality intake (K&N) to go along with it as well. I would love to put this kit on my RCF. 😀👍

Unfortunately, that's the way I personally feel about most all of the aftermarket pieces. The gear from "Toms" doesn't have removable Logos
(Assume I could paint over it though?)
Right now I'm at the decision point on whether or not to De-Badge the "RC F" off the car itself too!
Love to Go Dark on all Lexus Emblems as well. Know there's a thread in here somewhere on how to do that!

Sounds like an opportunity for a pre-sale \ group buy discount. I'm interested. Any chance you can negotiate one?

I would suggest emailing the manufacturer showing interest.they already know that some interest is there thats the reason they came up with the product.

not sure on GSF fitment. If you're in SoCal, I would email K&N asking or confirming, maybe they can test fit one on your car.

Unhappy

^^ Thank you, but unfortunately I am in Europe.. but I will follow this thread until AEM will release the product, then I will write them about the fitting.
One more question:
Someone asked before about the the grunty sound when accelerating, so does this setup enhance the intake sound at all or it just stays the same as OEM, but also below 4k RPM?
