Default Any Team Associated Lexus RCF owners?

I picked up a Team Associated Lexus RCF remote control car in white. Does anyone else have one to match there full size RCF?

They are discontinued. I picked on up New In Box on Ebay a while back. Not sure if I will run it. Right now it is a shelf queen.

Default For Real?

Level with me please. Are these things Seriously worth the money? Do they honestly run, steer, maneuver and operate by a handheld remote?

I have the ability to get one w $50 off, but it's a piece of junk I'll easily spend it elsewhere. Guess I'm asking - Is the
"Cool Factor" truly worth it?

If it is of true hobby quality. YES! I have been in the hobby now for around 25yrs. I was a partial owner of a hobby shop at one time. They are a lot of fun, and exactly like the real thing, just scaled down. Full adjustability on everything! You can tool around the yard or race them competitively! I do both! Here are some pics of mine, yes those are tire warmers for when the temps get chilly........and just look at that carbon fiber and anodized aluminum......

Now THAT is seriously entertaining my man!! Wild that even make Tire Warmers for these little things! Some folks collect baseball cards, coins , etc and you are a True Hobbiest Kramer!

Tell me this on the tiny RCF one. Not running it all day- How long does it last on a charge? Few Hours? I honestly cant believe there are people out there racing these things!

Meanwhile, I've filled my Lexus Owners Site Cart with an entire wardrobe of gear!! LMFAO!

That's awesome Kramer. I have never raced but have been doing RC cars since the 70's when I was a kid. I built a Tamiya Baja Bug kit back then and have been hooked ever since. I have owned all sort of RC cars and trucks since then.

I have several RC cars now and have even built several Tamiya RC tanks. I really enjoy building them. I was going to get my Axial Rock Crawler out this weekend for some bashing!

Thanks! Yeah I’ve been hooked since the late 80’s! I enjoy building them more than anything! I love putting together Tamiya kits, ive done tanks, semi’s, the old LunchBox, Blackfoot etc. My latest crawler was the GOM GR01 Rock Buggy! Nice kit. I don’t get to race as much as I used to, but at least once every 2 months I try and go racing, but I have to travel about 2 hrs or so to the nearest track.

Many diff types of batteries GunnyFitz, it all depends on motor and gearing, but with today’s LiPO batteries, typical run time about 20 minutes or so, and it takes about 45 minutes to charge back up. Speeds normally in 35-40MPH range with many topping out at speeds in excess of 75MPH, some can reach over 100MPH......if you wanna stretch one out! Look up Traxxas X-01.......
