in all modes...wondering if its the fuel pump or clutch...should i even be driving more on this now.hate it when dealerships are closed on sundays
Maybe, make a video of it. Is it happening both in manual mode and auto or just auto? Does it happen both part-throttle and full-throttle? Make your video both in auto and manual mode.
It is not the Clutch. The car has an Auto Transmission therefore no clutch.
Technically, it locks the torque converter in manual mode from 2nd to 8th to eliminate slippage and give 'snappy' shifts so it does not act like a true auto in manual mode.

Good to know mate. That's why I come here, I learn so much from you guys. People always ask me why I got the RCF, since it's an automatic. Why didn't you get a car with a dual clutch?!? I just look away, and I don't even bother answering. When I drive away, I just smile because this car is epic! Enjoy driving it everyday!
If you look at the trend everyone is moving to automatic.
1. Durable ( probably why Lexus went with this)
2 . Can handle higher amount of torque/power.
Sure, not as fast as dct. But it's getting better.

I agree. I believe Alfa Romeo Giulia has auto as well. It is quite amazing what they were able to accomplish with a conventional automatic transmission. The only thing I am discovering is, you have to be really pushing the car in high rpms consistently to really see it work the transmission work its magic.
I am very good at heel-toe downshifts and rev matches in my other manual car. Before buying it, I thought I might miss driving that V8 with a manual, but I honestly don't. I cannot believe at full-throttle the shifts are so crisp, snappy and positive. Under braking, while downshifting with paddle shifters, it rattle off rev-matches insanely well with accompanied by those snarling high-pitch noises.

Yeah I don't know obviously the age of various posters here, but if you were around in the muscle car era then you know you wouldn't be caught dead driving an AT. Back then it was a 2-speed or 3-speed auto, there definitely were no sports+ modes or paddle shifters. I remember I had a 66 Chevelle Malibu, 283 with 2 speed auto. I used to start out in low, then shift it up to neutral and give it some gas, then drop it into high. Simulating a double clutch move to impress my buddies. I also remember the trans starting to slip pretty badly not long after that. The AT in the RC F is light years ahead of where we were just 30 - 40 yrs ago.
