Negative camber didn't cause the wear I see in your picture. If it did the wear wouldn't be concentrated on the inner edge. You have a serious toe issue and maybe a small camber problem, but changing camber isn't going to solve the issue if you keep running the same toe in at the back.

sounds like you didn't remove certain bolts in order for things to drop down and out currently. i went though a similar issue with the control arm but quickly noticed. i can many not doing so.

You are absolutely right. The toe was real bad but that had been addressed. Fronts need a little adjustment but not really much cause for concern at this point.
