Racing Brake Fluid
A coworker invited me to a 2-day track school, but recommended that I flush my car's original brake fluid and replace it with racing brake fluid prior to the event. For those who have taken their RC-F to the track, have you done this? Would you recommend it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The quality fluids have a higher boiling temperature. For the track you may want to think about a pad replacement also.
I use this fluid:

It's a good high quality fluid.
I use dual purpose (street/track) pads
Ferodo DS2500 in front and Project Mu HC+800 in back. Again there are posts that discuss pads in the iSF forum.

No. Just bleed with a quality fluid so it is fresh and you will be fine for a track weekend. Truly it is better to boil your fluid than to have your pads fade to nothing. You can pump your brakes with boiling fluid and get something, but if your pads fail first, you'd better be ready to tour the tulips or hit the wall you didn't even imagine hitting when you woke up the morning of your track day.

Disclaimer: This is just my opinion/experience. Use your own judgement.
Changing to track pads on the heavy rcf will net much more improvement than just changing to a racing fluid while using oem pads.
That said, just make sure fluid is fresh and properly bled, you're good.
If this is your first track day, the instructor will keep you in a safe speed anyway so if your brakes are in decent shape, you will be fine.
My first track day was on oem pads and oem fluid. There was some fade but not too bad at all.
It also depends on the track too. If it has many straights where you can build up speed, it's gonna be heavier on brakes.
A great track/street pad for rcf is the Endless MX72 pad.
Pro is it dusts very little. Big bonus. Con is the price.
Enjoy track day. You gonna love it!!

Forgot to actually answer your question.
Yes I would replace fluid if you're going to do more track days down the road.
If you're just going to track this one time just for kicks, then just bleed a little fluid from each corner and don't bother emptying the whole system to swap fluid. Not suppose to mix 4 vs 5.
I've ran wilwood dot 5. Worked good. No issues.
Usibg Castro SRF now. Considered the best there is.
I don't think us weekend track guys will ever test the limits of these high temp fluids driving 20 minutes at a time.
