Default 2015 RCF 15k Maintenance

I'm looking to take in my '15 RCF in for its 3rd service now or 15k service. I'm wondering if any of you have done this service yet? How much was it for you guys, did they change the oil? Did they change the AC filter? Did they do a complete inspection of the brakes, tires and whole car?

I have contacted south bay Lexus here in California, lady over the phone said it will be $125 for an oil change alone, if I want the whole service including changing the AC filter and inspection it'll come out to $200. Does this sound right?

One dealer went as far as telling me that I don't need an oil change until 20k miles, I know this dealer is wrong but they swear by this.
Most other dealers are in the same ball park as south bay Lexus but they don't specify whether its just an oil change or also complete inspection and AC filter change. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

15K is just an oil change and inspection.

HVAC filter should have been replaced @ 10K and every 10K after that.

all of it is on page 50 of your warranty and service manual. Oil is every 5K, HVAC filter every 10K and engine filter is every 30K

don't know the cost as I purchased the maintenance contract for 100K miles

cut and paste from page 51 of attached PDF.

18 Months or 15,000 Miles
❑ Replace engine oil with 5W-30 oil;
replace oil filter
❑ Reset maintenance reminder light
❑ Visually inspect brake pads, calipers and rotors
❑ Check installation of driver’s floor mat
❑ Road-test vehicle
❑ Inspect the following:
__ Axle shaft boots
__ Ball joints and dust covers
__ Body
__ Brake lines and hoses
__ Engine coolant (see page 69)
__ Engine oil cooler hoses and connections
__ Exhaust pipes and mountings
Note: If SAE 5W-30 is not available, SAE 10W-30 oil may be used. However, it must be replaced with
SAE 5W-30 at the next oil change.

Okay awesome! Thank you for that info. What do you think about the prices though? $120-$130 sound right?

yup, 5w-30 oil is about $7.50 a quart; times 10 quarts, plus a filter ($20) so there is $95 right there if you did it yourself, plus the labor of .25 -.50 of an hour.

$130 is about right

15k service coming up for both my RCF and GS350. Was trying to keep mileage low on RCF and have the GS350 be my DD but not as much fun as RCF so...

I'd consider building a relationship with Doug Elliott at Santa Monica Lexus. He's done right by me as service advisor. If you want details, pls feel free to DM me.

Hmmm... If you buy a 55 Gal. drum it comes down to roughly $60 for 10 qts. Roughly 10 bucks for a filter and installation. Hell of a deal. Did you have a coupon or do you know the owner?

Probably a goodwill gesture hoping you come back either for more service later OR trade in and buy a new/used car on their lot. This is a good way to build a good relationship.

15k service stated they replace the wiper blades, too. In my location it comes out to $290 or $260 w/o replacing wiper blades. I will get a full rundown of the services provided when I go back to pick up the car. Also, getting brake pads replaced under the TSB as well. I will let you know my thoughts on the pads.
