Hi guys, got a question, anyone else upgraded to iPhone 7 and lost text message notification and playback through the car?
I've checked just about every setting I can check on both the car and phone and I couldn't get the notification working again. Bluetooth connection is fine, calls work just fine, Bluetooth music works just fine. No issues before the phone change, used to have the 6 plus. Thanks!

i just got 7 so when i get in the car ill check. at one point when i tried using dictation it wouldn't work through the car but then it started to work

 

Here you go. I used this youtube tutorial to re-establish the messaging after I moved to an IPhone 7.

 

I have an iPhone 7 and RCF, text works fine. Make sure that you enabled it from your BT menu like in the video. If that doesn't work try a restart of the iPhone 7.

I thought it was a great feature in my LC 500 but had no idea that my RCF could send and receive texts. Thanks so much for the information.

thank you. They also look huge next to the 19” wheels on the RCF. They are also a lot easier to clean than the RCF wheels too!
