Default Whoaa!

I'll take one in just that color. Talking to dealer the other day saying the first orange one is mine. My wife was getting pissed telling me to stop buying cars . . .

LC F is looking like 600 hp and 450 torque . . .

Dude, I think this one would be worth a week or two in the dog house. Watcha think?

I don't think so. Its going to suffer in the same manner as the GS-F. For the price point, its underpowered, under performs, and attempts to use the Lexus name as justification for "why that's ok".

A Z06 would blow its doors off every time for a similar price point and IMO, look better doing it as well. Additionally, given the RC-F fuel pump issues, I'd venture to say the Vette's LT4 is more reliable too.

I am purchasing for looks, but the LC F, not the LC 500, is supposed to have 600 hp and 450 torque.

Similar price point. Do you know the price point for the LC F? Do you know the price point for the LC 500?

If I wanted a Z06, I would surely buy one.

Where are you going to be driving the Z06 or the LC F at or near the limits? I have run quicker times in a Lotus Elise around Barber than guys in Z06s . . . This blowing the doors off stuff sounds kinda high school, especially if you cannot drive and we are talking about a street car.

I do agree that the GS-F does not make sense though. Nevertheless, I this the LF is absolutely gorgeous and the interior is supposed to be sweet!

I'm with Doug...had I wanted a Z06...I would have purchased it...but I don't like my car getting serviced by the guy who just got done working on a Cobalt. LC looks GREAT! I love the Molten Pearl!

Hmm I might have to trade my RCF in for a black LCF. I am guessing about $150k for it.

The LC F will be overpriced to only present 600hp. That's not something to laugh at, that's fact.

The LC500, if Lexus wants to sell ANY (because its already been proven that selling the RC-F at $80k was a failure), they would have to price it right around 90-100k. A Z06 is 80-110k.

honestly, that LC in orange looks amazing

But it really comes down to price.

You have an NSX that's starting close to $160k. For that money, you can have a V10 R8.

I would hope Lexus learns from the RCF and load the LC500 at around 75k and the LCF at 90k.

At 90k starting, the LCF will attrack Z06 buyers since it has an extra back seat and lexus reliability.

Yep. That is what I am being told. I think I said on here months back I was told the LC LF would be around the price of a Porsche turbo.

Lol, I don't car if Lexus 10,000 or 1 provided the 1 is goes to me.

Dude, why so hung up on performance numbers? Is 600 hp not sufficient for you? You do realize people shell out much more $$$ for cars around the same or even less performance level?

FWIW, each chevy dealer is required to have a Camaro and Vette certified tech, in which they only work on those vehicles. So your assumption that someone jumps from a Cobalt to a Z06 isn't accurate.

Wow, that makes me feel so much better about getting service at a Chevrolet Dealer. Thanks.

The LC F is supposed to have a back seat, although we will have to wait to see the size of it. Right now I just need to shove my 5 year old munchkin back there as everything I have is 2 seater.

I am luke warm on the NSX and never been a huge R8 guy. I love the new Ford GT and Huracan.

For the same price as an R8 or NSX, a slightly used 458 is a no brainer. I love mine, but I still need something with a back seat.

For me, my back seat 2 door options are another Porsche turbo, Maserati GTor possibly the LC???

hopefully LCF will be somewhere around the low 100's, anything higher, I would just go straight for v10 R8 or 570S......
