I am luke warm on the NSX and never been a huge R8 guy. I love the new Ford GT and Huracan.

For the same price as an R8 or NSX, a slightly used 458 is a no brainer. I love mine, but I still need something with a back seat.

For me, my back seat 2 door options are another Porsche turbo, Maserati GTor possibly the LC???

458 still going for 200+ tho, unless u get 2010 or 2011, but i suggest to get 2012 & up for 458, since they provide 7 years maintainence.....

It really just comes down to looks for me and the need to have one car with a back seat.

But yes, the 570S is a great option. My 2 seat staples are a GT3 RS and a 458. There may be faster, but none better to me . . .

Lol, these are all such high bottom problems.

Maintenance, no maintenance . . . who cares. The 458 is a joy to drive and I love the looks and sound.

For that matter, the 360 CS was an incredible car and I wish had had that one back . . . along with the 94 3.6 turbo I sold for $60k in 2002 and the 98 twin turbo I sold for $68k in 2001. Both of those air cooled are no at 458 prices . . .

yeah, 458 has the look & sound, but i'm thinking to trade it out once i can find a slight used 488.... or maybe F12 if the price is right.....

If those were my 3 choices

1) 911 turbo
2) LC-F
3) Maserati

The old my **** is bigger contest, you can always build a 1600HP GTR and spin all 4 wheels at 100MPH slide off the road kill 4 people and burn to death, how cool would that be?

Again who needs anything over 200HP for traffic or to merge, hell i drove a 240D that had 70HP and made it work and it was fun doing it lol.

At this point I get what I like and think looks good, and is fun to drive. I think HP is 4th or 5th on the list, when I was 16 and broke it was #1 but I was insecure then too.

@ Doug the NSX screwed up and I was going to get one too 200k is not a good value for that car.

Also hope the seat is not too stiff in the LC, I hear that's an issue in the RCF

Question

Speaking of time...

We're about 12-14 months out before the 2018 LC 500 hits the showroom floors...

Are you really going to wait to 2019 or 2020 for the 600 hp LC F (w/ Twins) to arrive??

Being worth the wait and actually waiting might be 2 different things!

you can have fun with the Z06 overheating problems, finish GMs engineering for them so you can enjoy it at the track

If it's 2019-2020, Lexus loses a lot of customers...yours truly included. That's too long a wait for me and I suspect many others.

Enter R8...

Totally worth it. The exclusivity and that gorgeously crafted interior make this premium GT stand out.
