Nothing was clarified you're still wrong. Camaro SS uses 4 piston brembos.

It's on the first post of that thread you discovered. He upgraded to a 1LE SS later on.

While browsing RockAutoI stumbled upon"

Indeed looked up the caliper and they are single piston.

On top of that he is not even using the active performance pads in question.

Dynamic Friction is a budget pad regardless of which "version". They are cheap brake pads for a reason.

Again no experience with the pad to speak of and went to a camaro forum to get negative reviews and ignore 3 F owners who belong to this forum. On top of that either of the camaro reviews were even about the Active Performance pads and one of them was a single piston caliper LS!.......LOL. today is a good day.

Yah, and their track day pad is a level above their active pads (and more expensive) and you can see its garbage. 80,000$ car with 40$ brake pads lol what's next wanli tires?...if you cant afford the cost of ownership get a corolla and use your dynamic friction pads.

WOW. And from his post you know how he drives? the type of track he was on? because i'm sure you know this play factors in wear as well.

I'll let the forum decide from here. I'm not here to change your mind bro but just wanted to posts facts about my review and for some reason you used my thread to air out your insecurities by using insults, wrong information, and generalities with again.....NO experience on the pads whatsoever and ignored other F users and went on another car forum so prove your point...on DIFFERENT PADS and with one with a single piston caliper. Not even apples to apples.

So when 3 F owners view their personal experience with them (2 of them on the track) you dismiss it because it doesn't align with your base belief.

Even the guy you recently posted said the track pad (which this thread is not about but the active performance) "they were surprisingly good" and had to go to a faster track to cook them. Stop cherry picking. If they were bad I'll let people know on this forum just the same. just like when i got the brembos i let people know it wasn't for canyon carving. But the DFCs performed well for me and two other F guys on this forum and it irked you.

I'm just so perplexed why you're so biased.

Well there are very few track reviews of any DYNAMIC FRICTION pads - the only one I could find was in the Camaro forum (that includes reddit). Ask yourself, why are there so little reviews on these pads? Why are they so cheap? Why use these over the two oem pads (one is low dust, which I have and are great), Tom's, project mu, endless? Its because you don't want to spend the money and not because they are better than any of the reputable options. The forum will decide - I doubt these will be the pads of choice for RCF or GSF owners except the cheapos.

I've reviewed them for the street. Again the Active Performance is not a dedicated track pad. I mention this on my review. There are also two F owners on this very forum who used them on the track and love them. One even posted a video. This was not enough for you so you went on a different platform to substantiate your claim....on different cars...and different pads.

I assume because people don't know about them, If they were horrible like you say there would be a large amount of negative feedback on them and you'd have a field day. But even the ones you found liked them initially before heading to a faster track....and again not the pads discussed in this thread. Meanwhile two F owners use them on the track...liked them..and it was not enough for you. I guess Camaro owner hold more weight to you.

We can only assume. But you've done plenty of that, Thank you for showing us. They probably use sawdust and cotton *****. They can be made of rice pudding but they perform very well...again as stated by myself from PERSONAL experience and 2 others.

When I bought the car I had the "non-squeal" OEM pad version. it was definitely not low dust and it did not bite as hard repeatedly like the DCF Active Performance. I was not really happy with them. But good you like them. I will refrain from insulting you and meeting you at your level.

Again...assumptions. I was ready to get a set of Tom's (i even posted about my interest in previous posts before I got the DFC). But when I found out about the DFC Active Performance I said for as low priced as they are...what do I have to lose? I also get to give feedback on a product (by your own admission) there is not a lot of info on. Isn't this why we have this forum...to also discuss new discoveries? So I posted a positive experience with them and you went ballistic. LOL

Have fun with your OEM quiet / low dust pads. I'm glad you like them. They did not perform well for me.
