Default Remote Start 2016 RC300AWD

I was wondering if anyone has installed the MPC remote start? https://shop.mypushcart.com/plug-n-p...6-lexus-rc300/
It looks like the Lexus Enform app will not be available after October 2022 because of the 3G cell network going by the boards. I only used the Enform app as a remote start, so I was looking for an alternative.

Here’s the one I bought https://www.12volt.solutions/collect...32076294684775 . Installed it myself. It’s a straightforward process, the only issue is how difficult it may be to remove some parts. I’ve had no issues with it. The range isn’t the best, but they do offer options with more range.

Thank you for your response, as far as the range goes my key fob can currently lock the car doors and open the car doors from inside my house. So as long as that range doesn't change I'd be happy.

From how far away do you want to be able to remote start your vehicle?

Not that difficult. I’d say what made it harder was some of the cramped areas I had to work with. Other than that, it wasn’t a terrible experience.

I went with the advice of KrakenRC and installed the 12 volt solutions remote start.
It was fairly easy to install and program.
It seems to work very well.
3 taps of the lock button on my keyfob and the car starts up.
Nice to know that there are other brands that work too.

I used the 12v solutions for my wife's 18' NX and haven't had any issues with it to date.

Once they come out with one for a 2020 rcf i'll be adding it to mine in a year or two. For what these cars cost they should have been able to be remote started from the keyfob by default.

I agree, for a premium luxury car the remote start should have been included.
I liked the features of the Lexus app but it was buggy for me. Sometimes it would work and other times it couldn't connect.
What is really upsetting is that the communications are over 3G. Well they are abandoning the service after this year because 3G will be obsolete.
Why can't Lexus upgrade the receiver/transmitter for such a premium car?
