I have the Lexus app (black with the L in the middle) and have used it many times to remote start both of our Lexuses (2019 RX350 and 2019 UX250h) in our "garage". I probably haven't used it on over 2 months - given the current milder weather. Now, when I open the app, the remote start and door locking feature is gone for both cars. The remote start shows up in the list of services available for each car. I tried deleting the app and readding - but still no remote capabilities. Any ideas? Thank you!

 

Did your subscription expire? As i recall, I received the remote start feature for free for 1 year and then it is disabled if you don't pay. I have no idea though if it disappears off the app screen. Obviously, this seems like BS on a $50K car but it is what it is.

 

Nope - just renewed one (that actually still doesn't expire for a week) and the other is good until the end of June

 

Is the app possibly in Demo Mode?

Does the screen after you log in have a check mark along side Status?

 

There were two recent app updates. One like 48 hours ago and another 1 week ago. Some have reported that logging out and in resolved the issue. Have you tried that?

 

Mine will still work on the key fab but the motor turns off when you open the door. I never use its just not something i use. My car stays in the garage so it warms up fast.
