Default Brake Pad Recommendations

As we all know, the stock pads are very dusty.

Anyone running aftermarket pads? Any recommendations for something with good stopping power and low dust? And by low dust, anything lower than the stock pads.

I used the powerstop setup with their ceramic pads and D/S rotors before switching to a big brake kit. The dust seemed a lot better with the powerstop pads.

How do you like the BBK? is it the RR BBK? I eventually want to get it, but dont see a need for it until I go FI.

I love the look and the stopping power is much better but they are super squeaky and tough to get bed in to fix that.

Akebono pads are famous for low dust, while maintaining grip that should be equivalent to factory.

I dont need new pads yet, but will go Akebono without question when the time comes. As for rotors, no idea. I like the factory ones well enough, but will likely go with slotted and or drilled ones, for looks.

The dusty pads are due to a material which gently "conditions" the brake rotors are you drive. This is the best type of pad material for your car.

"low dust" options tend to result in a lot of brake juddering when you brake either too softly or too aggressively all the time

You obviously don't take well to sarcasm...

Sorry for being rude.

Sarcasm doesn't translate very well over text... or memes....

I understand that all things are a balance, and the spider chart/trade-offs of performance(s). But also that best is subjective to the desired outcome.

I've ran Akebonos on several cars, and have personally never experienced the brake juddering you described. Also, I found the stopping performance and life of pads and rotors to be sufficient. This is also the experience of countless others as Akebono is one of the most popular pad brands on the market and has significant support across this forum and others.
