EBC Pads: Brake Dust!

EBC Pads: Brake Dust!
I installed the EBC brake pads on my 00 GS4 about 2 months ago, and they have produced so much MORE brake dust than the stock pads, it's unbelievable... Is this normal?
I went with the EBC pads based on recommendations from this forum. But I can't even go a week without getting a ton of dust buildup on my 19s. What's the deal with these?

I use Greenstuffs on my front brakes for my 99 RX. I had a lot of dust for about the first month, but since then no problem. I seriously wonder which type of EBCs you are using or how you are braking.

I tried some Axxis pads on my GS3 and then ended up going back to the factory Toyota pads. I have honestly never seen so little brake dust as what I get with the factory pads. After a week, there's hardly any dust on the 19s. I have found that it's hard to go wrong with the Toyota stuff if you are not doing big brakes, etc.

I also like Toyota OEMs, but switched to EBCs on my front pads due to the fact that Toyota pads were not getting the job done in the bad traffic and steep hills here. Brake dust is the last thing on your mind in rough conditions. I have also tried Hawk brake pads and they did an excellent job with no brake dust, but not as much stopping power. EBCs, from my experience, seem to perform better in wet weather than Toyotas or Hawks.
