Default RC350 Takeda Stage 2 Intake

Hey all, this is my first post here
Im getting this stage 2 CAI for my 350 F Sport, but wanted to know if it would require a tune or not.
My car is stock, with a simple muffler delete. I wanted to be sure that a "stage 2" intake didn't require a tune to void warranty at all, and I am not sure what stage 2 means.
Any help would be appreciated 🙏🏽

Does not need a tune.

Just straight install, and won't have any issues.

Just a heads up, I used hose clamps to hold the hose onto the intake because the oem clips were not strong enough. It's a quick and easy install.

Thanks for the notice! Any specific hose clamps you recommend? Also, did your stage 2 intake require a tune / will it affect check engine lights or the MAF?

Harbor freight sells them in a pack for a great price. No tune needed, just don't over tighten the MAF or you'll strip it.

I installed one of these 6 months ago and have had no issues with CEL and have not yet bought a tune. You will be fine.

Its a fun, quick, and easy install. Pick up a 1 or two inch hoseclamp for the crank case vent hose.

Definitely will pick some up! This is my first time messing with anything like this, do you by any chance have a photo of where/how exactly you placed the clamps you added?

Only added one clamp. I placed it just on the crank tube with the screw pointing up so I could access it easier. Then slide it around the bung on the intake and tighten it down. Super easy, I can take some pics later tonight if youd like.

The kit ended up coming with a few clamps for both the filter area and the crank tube, so I just buckled it all down!
I appreciate your help and advice, just installed it last night and so far no issues at all, but plenty of sound and a more sensitive throttle!

Does anyone know if this will fit on a 2017 RC 300 AWD? I'm being told by compatibility that this won't work on my version? Can anyone comfirm?

As I understand it is the same engine so I do not know why it would not fit. Ask Josh @ Meraki he sold me mine.
