Default throttle response

2016 RC200T

Will the pedal commander or Apexi controller help in any way? trying to find a solution without a custom tune as I just bought this and its under a lengthy warranty.

Thanx but don’t want to go that far. Simple plug and play and easy to revert. Just talking about off the line... from a stop.

The Apexi controller is amazing, I highly recommend it. I, and many others on the forum, won't drive without it.

Here is the graph of the modes the Apexi provides. This may help your decision for it. @matthewsil

So this is just plugged in line like the pedal commander? No issues with warranty via Lexus?

would love to do more but want to take advantage of my warranty. Priced the rcf exhaust and as expected way over priced. Looking for a free flowing setup. With deeper tone.... just not the average “fart can”. In ca so I need to run cats.

And is is this basically the same function and setup as the pedal commander? Any pros and cons of one over the other?

No warranty issues. Its just a bypass from the stock pedal response system.

I really like the idea of the new Pedal Commander since you can access it via BT with an app on your phone instead of needing to use a switch.

I'm unaware of that product. Just did a little research on it and its the same thing with the added convenience of BT. Also I have a 350 so my opinions aren't with a 200t as the OP. Would definitely like to see more information on the Pedal Commander though. I emailed them and asked for additional information!

Got me worried about throwing a code now and having to stop, remove the harness, and clear codes... unexpectedly.

I've been running it for about six months now with no issue.

I have had the Apexi for 6-7 months and had zero issues. I personally prefer the switch as it seems much faster than having to get my phone out of sleep mode, opening the app and changing the setting. For the money either would be a really nice mod.

The Pedal Commander with BT still has the switch but you can also control via phone app.
