What's up CL I have an 01 GS430 and I'm trying to install the blitz throttle controller auto light that's supposed to be plug and play but I can't see the part where you plug it in and I basicslly had my whole body in the car. do I have to remove anything to see it? Where should I be looking the stupid directions are in Japanese and u can't find anything online pertaining to the 01 430

 

If I recall correctly, you "may" have to remove the accelerator pedal to get to the plug.

 

This is exactly what I would like to know. Please someone help I really wanna install it but don't wanna do anything wrong!

 

What does the Blitz throttle auto controller do?

 

Re maps the throttle input for a more responsive feel and it's supposed to get rid of the annoying throttle lag in the drive by wire the 430s have

Do they make these for the GS300? Or is it a 400 and 430 only kind of part?

 

In regards to the 2GS, it's only available for the 430.

 

I got it from frsport.com which seemed to literally be the only place to get it maybe because it's an old product from japan. Of course my luck it didn't work the light just kept blinking instead of being able to go on and off. I was really looking forward to using it because of all the wonderful reviews I read but I couldn't get it to work no matter what

 

As far as I remember I didnt have to remove anything. You have to look up above the gas pedal and disconnect the connector and connect the blitz in between.

 

Yea I got it done it was easy but it didn't work the light kept blinking I have no idea if it's defective or what happened. Did you have to reset your ecu to make it work?

 

So did you ever get it to work?
