The declarations in the post are interesting.
Enform Remote:
According to the Enform staff "you can continue to remote start from the key fab" after a subscription is expired. Obviously the Enform App and its features will no longer function after expiration.

Has any RC owners on here let their Enform subscription expire?
Can you remote start it?

 

It has to be tied with the Enform subscription...my mother has a 2015 ES350 that never had the Enform Remote service activated, and the key fob start feature doesn't work.

 

Regarding, Key Fobs and Remote Start, do you guys think this will work?

I believe this to be true. Before I even set up my enform subscription I was able to remote start my car using the Key Fob...

 

Just to add to the confusion - Here in Australia, we don't have the option of signing up for remote start thru Enform, and the remote start via the fob does not work.

 

Holy moly thats a lot to renew. Mine will get switched off for sure. I like the remote app on the phone and esp the remote start from anywhere feature...but in a real time situation when I am usually just inside my house the key fob works better as it is much faster than how long it takes the app to connect and process.

However it was cool to remote start my baby from another continent!
