Thanks. The ability to load an image into the car for a startup screen (I have yet to see a shutdown screen) just means more Fun with Photoshop.
By the way, recently when I upload an image it shows up in the post as a thumbnail rather than a full size image like it used to and like most of the others. What am I doing to cause this? My images are deserving of a full size look.
And so they are my friend. First Click on Insert Image, and not Attachments.
Use the Go Advanced option if you posted, but forgot to upload what you wanted, after you posted the thread. If you see Edit you can still upload the images, but if it is not displayed you can add to your original post.
Once Insert Image is selected you will see the screen for uploading your images from you device, i.e. computer or URL, etc.. You can select the files you want one at a time or highlight them all and drag and drop them into the screen, and reorder them afterward.
On page 73 or image 2, did you follow the Information warning about the folder name of Image and it's case sensitive on the USB, and put the files in that folder; file size limit for each; naming character limitation; extension name as it can only be *.jpeg or *.jpg, etc.?
The image shows up as a thumbnail, and when i click on it, nothing happens and i never saw a "copy" button even come up.
Ill check file size, i kinda figured since it showed up as a thumbnail (or preview w/e its called) that it was legit to copy

I just tested it again following the directions and everything worked. On the thumb drive you have a folder called Image. In that folder you put your file(s), and each one ends in either JPEG or JPG. Try not to have any spaces in the file name just to be sure.
Insert the drive in a USB port on the center console. Make sure vehicle is on, one step before starting or do it with vehicle started.
Follow the directions, and it should work. It really doesn't care if it is a legal copy, but make sure there are not already 10 files stored in the NAV system as the dealer might have put a bunch of files there already. The max number of stored files is 10, and if there is 10 I would delete some so you can load yours. The directions for that is also listed in what I gave you in the images. Let me know what you find.
Read the instructions but I'm stock.
Tried to do this but it's not giving me the option to choose when I get to this point. Am I missing anything?? The icon is stock in the back or return arrow. I can't choose the option to set images or copy USB. Tried the car both in ON position and when the car is started.

Is the thumb drive formatted as FAT or FAT32? Also try doing a reboot on the head unit.

That's funny, lying on it's side. Maybe all the electrons are falling out of the thumb drive.
My bad. Even on a larger screen the Reply to section is quite small, and it was hard to see, Yes even with the close up glasses if I put the ' in there or not. Good thing you got my back Tim.
Pete - if we get sloppy, this is what we wind up with:
ACYROLOGIA is the incorrect use of words, particulately replacing one word with another that sounds similar but has a diffident meaning. This is often fuelled by a deep-seeded desire to sound educated, witch results in the pawing off of an incorrect word in place of a correct one. In academia, the flaunting of social and grammatical morays is considered sorted; the offender often becomes a piranha. Usually, after all is set and done, such a miner era will often leave normal people unphased. However, a small percentage, who suffer from severe acyrologiaphobia, have the correct usage of English as their upmost desire. Exposure to bad English may cause these people to display symptoms that resemble post-dramatic stress disorder and, eventually they descend into whole-scale outrage as they go star-craving mad. Eventually, many succumb to the strings and arrows of outrageous fortune, and suffer a complete metal breakdown, curled up in the feeble position.

Tim you're too funny. You put incorrect words in your paragraph, but what is more funny is the brain adapts, and all it needs are the first couple of letters to determine the correct word.
Thanks for the laugh as its been one of those mornings.
