Question Front License Plate

So my plate arrived this week and I am still undecided on what to do with my front license plate. I did get the mounting bracket that came with the car but I wanted to see what everyone else is doing with their plates. (I'm in CA). Any comment or suggestion would be appreciated.

I wish I was lucky as you
I always somehow end up getting a ticket for front license plate (w/o any moving violation).

I think it looks OK with the slim, black plates we have here in Sydney.

I don't mind the offset license plate holder that comes out of the tow hook location that the dealer gave me.

I'd like to hear about anyone who has put a Show and Go type license plate holder on their RC.

I haven't put mine on yet either. I have been rolling the dice on not getting a ticket. My wife never puts hers on and and for years never got a ticket. Me not so lucky. I worry about have a couple of suds and then giving them a reason to pull me over.

The license plate smack dab in the middle just ruins the look of the entire car. Might be worth it to just get a fix it ticket every year or so (am I being generous here lol)

I thought about using a similar system, but this will reduce ground clearance and I'd be afraid of accidentally ripping it off on a parking block or curb. The only way I could think of to get around this problem would be to cut a small slit in the bottom of the grille, attach the small part of the grille to the top of the plate, mount it inside. A lot of work to get around the problem of front plates. I'd be ok with small plates like the one in Australia, but unfortunately we have big, ugly ones in America.

I'd prefer to go with the offset towhook solution. Leave it in the trunk until you get pulled over, then tell the cop you forgot to put it back on after washing the car. Probably let you off with a warning. Then take it off when I get home.

Dude, don't put them on, I've never had one issue with front plates and if you do get a ticket, big whop, it's $25. So worth not ruining your car

Never. Looks awful on this car. The offset look is terrible as well. I'm in NJ, and so many drivers especially corvette , don't put front plates on. I guess I'm lucky, I pass cops all the time. I don't think you'll get pulled over just for that; but if you get pulled over for something else , that could be a different story
