Wish I could say the same. Only the SC300/400 was love at first bite for me.
Even my 3GS left me cold for the longest until one day it all changed.

Regardless, I'm interested in the new RC because I can't stand the thought of buying another sedan and I want to stay with Lexus.
I'd have to wait until lowering springs were available though. I just can't drive stock height anymore.

You are right - my mistake.

Where the hell is the turbo engines that ppl mentioned in the other thread???
This is the perfect model to introduce a new powertrain.
Yeah, because this thread went dead when we found out its the same engine:roll eyes:

The turbo engines were JUST mentioned, did you expect them to debut in a week. They are coming as I've been told quite a few things so far this week.

The RC will be one of the hottest new vehicles out, period.

Why do u defend Lexus when u know they are totally wrong???
This engine is OLD - has been around with NO update since 2007.

This is a BRAND NEW model with a GREAT design - a new powerplant would only make it that much more exciting!

Remember back in 1997 the GS 400 intro.......It turned heads for its style BUT also bec it had a V8 with 300hp which was the top in the segment.

Actually it's been available since late 2005 as an 06 IS350 or 07 GS350.

I personally have a theory be it right or wrong, and that is the 2015 RC will like the rest of it's stablemates using the 3.5 DI will use it through the 2015 model years. I believe this because 2016 models would mark the 10 year anniversary of the 2.5 DI and 3.5 DI. If this is the case, then they are pulling the old 2006 GS300 to 2007 GS350 / 2006 330i to 2007 335i trick. So this would be the perfect time to introduce the Twin Turbo mills. Let's see what happens I guess

The rear just looks so good...!!! Lexus really nailed it. The front is good too with the aggressive spindle grille and innovative triple LED headlights, but the rear totally outshines it. Nicest looking rear on a Lexus along with the LFA.

Just purchased the IS a few weeks ago, but the RC will likely be my next car purchase in two years. What a great looking car.

Really excited about this car and RC-F! I was hoping I can do a European delivery for my next car but I guess I will have to wait and see the RC-F!

If they really wanted to perfect it, they would have made the nav screen at least 10 inches Also an electronic parking brake wouldn't hurt

One potential deal breaker for some is how little rear legroom there is in the RC compared to the 4-series. The RC's rear seats are SC-like--practically uninhabitable for normal humans, it seems.

RC:

versus the 4-series:

Hopefully the RC's rear seats do fold down though. Don't know yet.
