I love to be wrong too. I can use a 600 hp LS-F.
The current 381 hp LS F-Sport is not much of an upgrade from my 290 hp LS430 Ultra, I can barely feel the difference in acceleration with my old butt. With the extra weight, is only like 50 hp quicker
I can feel the push from 500+ hp AMGs!! But I don't want to fix them

2015 Lexus RC F Coupe Spied - http://rumors.automobilemag.com/2015...ree-quarter-6/

i've been wondering what is the size of this car and this pic gives us a very rough way to estimate it. i measure the car is roughly 9x the diameter of the wheel. so if the wheels are 19" wheels, then the car is about 171". if the wheels are 20" then the car is about 180". i know this is not a great way to do things, but the point is that the car may turn out to be smaller than previously thought. just looking at it, i never thought it looked all that big.
maybe the photoshop experts out there can estimate the size better from this great profile pic.
With a price point of more than $100,000 for the flagship V8...we'll see. There is stiff competition at this level.
For me to sign that deal, this is going to have to outstandingly compete with a lot of other cars--including the new Corvette Sting Ray.
The entry RC-F will be at $40k, and you can select a variety of turbo-charged engines: 2.0, 2.5 hybrid and 3.0 V6s. The V8 will be the big buy.
Alas, Lexus is truly competing with the M series via the RC-F series.

The $100K number was a mis-translation from the originalAustralian article. In Australia, a 2013 IS-F costs >$100,000 USD due to car taxes etc. The original article stated that the price of the Australian RC-F would be around the same as that of the current Australian IS-F ie around $100K USD.
Motortrend blindly copied that number not taking into account the inflated car prices in the Australian market.
