Default TC questions

I have a few of torque converter upgrade questions.

1. Will it void the powertrain warranty?
2. How much does it cost and what is the best (popular) brand?
3. Where to get it for the best price.

Thank you!!

YES. You'll lose the factory warrantty on your tranny.

99% ppl here got the Precision Industry 2800 rpm high stall TC. ~$850
It costs another $500 for installation

3. Where to get it for the best price.
SUPRATRD aka Steve Ganz from Carson Toyota

Thank you!!

Hope you don't mind me jumping on your thread, but thought I'd add to the questions as the TC is probably my next mod...
Is there any rivalry between the dragon and RMM's TC?
Any hard specs to prove one better than the other?

Has anyone here installed it themselves?

Ahhh...that would explain why they look EXACTLY the same, except PI's is that nice looking purple color The black paint must cost a lot more considering RMM's cost about $200 more.

The torque converter will not make a good tranny fail by itself. If the tranny was bad already, maybe just speed things up. The PI TC is perfectly fine to use in our cars w/o any added problems.

Most CL members just added an after-market tranny cooler to prevent premature tranny failures
I have one myself and it works out perfectly.
