Default Questions about header for 07 is350

Looking to install best value headers for my 07 is350. I found OBX on eBay for $500 versus PPE headers for $1k. Does anyone have experience with OBX? if so: is the fitment proper without additional mods? Does it compare well enough to PPE? Happy with purchase? Any further advice would be greatly appreciated!

There are some used ppe headers on the North Carolina craigslist for 600.00. Not many people have run the OBX headers that I know of. Not saying they’re bad though. Keep in mind that you’ll get maybe 200.00 or so if you take your oem manifolds to the scrap yard. So that puts the tried and true , proven PPE headers a little bit closer in price to the OBX. Installing headers on the 2IS can prove to be a pain and labor intensive so I personally would opt to install the best option.

you have a good point on considering used headers. After further research, I was able to find PPE headers for $823 for sale with RR RACING who sells the ECU tune $500 as part of a package deal so I’m leaning to this purchase. For the incremental few hundred bucks it makes sense to buy with a better designed/fitment item, thank you!

Only good things to say from the set of PPE headers I had. Even held their value well when re-sold!

They have a good resell value? I been thinking about future purchases on my car and I was looking at ppe headers for a decent push on hp. But i cant imagine spending near $1.5k on the headers and install. But if they can hold their value then maybe I might actually give it a thought.

Yeah, re-sold them for $600-700 shipped. I forgot the exact amount and I cannot bring up what my asking price was because I edited my F/S thread by removing my sold items.
