Default Check vsc light after header install

has anyone experienced this? Had headers installed on my is250 and have driven it about 300miles since and now I’m getting check vsc light, traction control light, and check engine light. As soon as I saw it I pulled over and stopped the car for about 5 minutes and then went to drive it, when I pulled up to a stop light my car felt like it was bogging down almost like if you don’t shift a manual car when you come to a stop. I stopped the car for about 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do and when I started it up to take it to the dealership it was running like normal but the lights were still on. I called the guy who installed them and he said the sensor on the headers are bad and I would have to drain the battery till dead and even then my car is probably toast.

Please help me out guys. Thanks

I also had my oil changed yesterday by the dealer and they put new battery terminals in but don’t think that would have anything to do with it

You should go to autozone or whatever you have nearby and have them tell you why your check engine light is on. You installed headers which removes the primary cats, you should have a couple codes saying your cats (which aren't there) are bad. You will need to figure out which route you want to take to relieve this. Sometimes o2 spacers work, PPE supplies an intermediate device which alters the rear o2 signal, or you can have the codes removed via ecu reflash. If your codes only revolve around the rear or downstream o2 sensors, you will be fine to drive the car however you want, just know your traction control wont work.

Took it to autozone and the code it was putting out was P0300 P0303 P0301 says cylinder misfire. If anyone has had experience with this please help don’t really know what to do. Paul from Ppe said that that code is not anything related to the sensors.

Start by checking your plugs and whatnot. How many miles are on your car? You might be experiencing problems due to carbon build up, how many miles are on your car?

Interesting it has P0300 - random....
From the drivers seat, plugs 1 and 3 are rightside, most forward plug and then the middle one same side.

Wild guess but from the work done one has to wonder if its MAF/vacuum related as in something not put back right causing the P-0300 yet, 1 and 3 caused actual codes for some other weakness they had before the header swap?
OP - what did you find?

I ended up taking my car back to the installers and they cleared the codes, they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it but I’m thinking they must have forgot or messed something up and didn’t say anything about it.. driven it about 300 miles since and no problems since
