Default 16 is200t turbo upgrades

Dug around a bit and didn't really dinged much on what I'm curious about.
had my 16 is200t for a good bit now and love it. Have a VR tune box and a cold air. What (if any) mods are there for the turbo it's self? Waste gate/Bov? I know this thing has more power in it..

Hey man! first off, WOOO TEXAS!
I know Tony at TTI Motorsports advertised that he is currently developing a BOV spacer. (follow this link for videos of what it sounds like)

Have you tried checking out the TTI downpipe? If you ever plan on getting a full TTI tune that's part of their stage 2 package (I believe).

Other than that... intakes, various tuning boxes and the tuning packages that TTI offers are the only modifications that I know of for the turbo.
Currently have an apexi quad exhaust on my car + injen intake, next mod is going straight to that stage 2 tti tune.

Default Another random question..

After warranty expires..
would there be any benifit (besides running a larger turbo).. any benefit to changing the setup to an air to air turbo piping system?

An air to air intercooler setup has not been developed yet, plus i think it will be a while to see one since there's other mechanical parts that would need to be bypassed or modified for this setup. You are on the right track by getting the down-pipe, but i would also suggest looking at getting a Burger Tuning (BMS Stage 1) tune instead of the VR since its dyno proven to make power gains.

Ok.. a bit of a left turn.. what if any help would a remote exhaust cut off be? Just thinking out loud...

Do you like the vr tune box? Does it still provide power after ecu adjusts? I have AEm intake. Highly recommend. If you can post pictures of location for box it would be greatly appreciated. I can’t figure it out. .

The box is a good first step but, after I finally got a tune, I'm much happier than the box. I mounted the box itself inside the air box location. There is enough room to run the harness out of there and reach all the plugs. Also an easy spot to adjust the box ad needed. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

This is where I installed mine. Few holes drilled and some zip ties. All the wiring runs out underneath. Also doing it that way leaves the adjustment side up so it's easier to adjust.
