Hey guys looking for some guidance here. I bought a 03 gs430 and as far as i know its loaded but i wish i had the 6pd trans instead of the 5spd. I have been looking into changing it but it seems like it would be an expensive swap considering i would need a steering wheel with the shift buttons and a new gauge cluster and ecu plus the trans and shifter. has anyone done this upgrade and if so how much did it cost and where is the best place in SO CAL to go to?

cause you have no clue.... and you DONT need the steering wheel especially not one that has shift buttons. yup getting a 6 speed swap V160/V161 is a manual transmission def want the dash shifters for it

 

 

Just drop in a Chevy LS engine in it, save you money, but not gas. also, you get 6/7spd, more HP, More Fanbois

 

I believe the OP was talking about the later 6spd auto boxes, ala A761e that was in the last of the GS430/LS430/SC430.
