Hey guys looking for some guidance here. I bought a 03 gs430 and as far as i know its loaded but i wish i had the 6pd trans instead of the 5spd. I have been looking into changing it but it seems like it would be an expensive swap considering i would need a steering wheel with the shift buttons and a new gauge cluster and ecu plus the trans and shifter. has anyone done this upgrade and if so how much did it cost and where is the best place in SO CAL to go to?
Well I understand that I'm Getting and extra gear but is it worth spending the money to do the swap plus having the ability to shift with the tiptronic
cause you have no clue.... and you DONT need the steering wheel especially not one that has shift buttons. yup getting a 6 speed swap V160/V161 is a manual transmission def want the dash shifters for it

Funny you must not know your cars, the 6spd is an auto considering the GS never came in a stick. Smart guy
