Default IS 350 F-sport exhaust/ performance upgrades

I just upgraded from a 2009 IS250 to a 2014 IS350 Fsport and loving it so far. I personally wanted to go for a 2011 IS F but my parents were splitting the bill with me and wouldn't let it fly. Now Im in a tough situation because I know theres really no easy way to gain power without a V8 or a turbo. Ive read all about doing headers and even full exhausts. It seems to me that doing these types of upgrades are more just noise makers rather than substantial gains in power. If anyone has any experience with other upgrades or feedback it would all be much appreciated.

Headers with full exhaust and a tune would yield about 40-50 WHP on an is350 which is pretty substantial if you'd asked me.
