We've got 5+ swap kits out in the wild right now...
- 2007 is250 w LS3 t-56 manual swap - running (My car)
- 2017 is200T w/ a Ls3 6060 manual swap - running
- 2007 is350 w/ LSA TH400 automatic car - running
- 2006 is350 with a Gen V LT engine and 8l90e auto - Customer installing kit currently
- 2006 Is250 with a Gen 3 5.3/ 4l60e- parts being Fabricated in the shop now.
The steering is pretty straight forward with a bunch of Info in this thread and works 99% as intended. (Warning lights still an issue)
We put together a wiring guide that is included with our Swap Kit to make it super simple, Its all pretty straight forward.
I still have my car and have probaly put 5k+ miles on it since its been running, completed. It got an IS300 LSD a few months ago. Its so much more fun to drive and slide around now in comparison to the open diff. The LSD is a must have to make the car really enjoyable.
I daily drive it when the weather is cool, but right now its 105 degrees in Austin so I'm taking the time to make the A/C 100% functional and get rid of the Warning lights for the Defunct Lexus Components. I do Intend to sell the car, later this year.
Your welcome to contact us at the shop, I dont check the forums very often.

you can add mine to that! I only got your mounts but if I had to start over I’d order the full kit! 👍🏽
let me know if I can buy the wiring guide off you, it’s my last piece of the puzzle! We have the engine all wired up ready to start, just need to tie in required sensors for cluster!!
Just curious, any update on the swap?? Assuming something happened with the nitrous...
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks,
Chris

Lol, Nope, nothing happened with the nitrous. Believe it or not, but I've never used the nitrous on this car. I've got so many ongoing projects, I've lost a lot of motivation to go fast in turn for just keeping everything running and enjoyable.
Its still runs great otherwise, and will probably put it on the dyno and get it tuned with nitrous one of these days.... I need to setup a YouTube Video of all that.
But, After a enduring a brutal Summer here in Texas, I did find the motivation to hook up the A/C which is now working!
I just need to get the Tags updated and renewed with some fresh tires and I can start daily driving it again.

you and your project is definitely a personal inspiration to me for my future project with my lexus is250. If I ever happen to have the extra cheese, I will definitely look into putting a brand new Chevy crate engine in it.
im curious to see how you set up the fuel tank! im also working on a swap but, im putting in a 347 ford stroker. for the record im not a ford guy! my employee is an avid ford guy and he said he would build the motor for me for free so yeah 347 stroker. originally the stroker was going to go back in the 5.0, but then my lex took a fat dumpster, at least its getting swapped with an American motor with the right amount of cylinders. your project looks clean as f. by the way!
An LSx engine swap in the IS250 is an ambitious and exciting project! The performance boost would be incredible, but I'm curious about the challenges you’ve faced with fitting, wiring, and tuning. Any advice for someone thinking of taking on a similar swap.
