Another Intake question..
K&N lists 69-8704TP, for 2013-2019 IS350. No reference of installing in 08-2012 IS 350.
I've since followed up and inquired with K&N for confirmation. The following reply was received;
"Thank you for your email. The correct kit for the 2008 Lexus IS350 3.5L is part number: 69-8701TP https://www.knfilters.com/69-8701tp-...-intake-system It is not recommended to install a kit that is not fit tested for your application"
Somewhat vague reply, which neither confirmed if it would / would not fit 08 - 2012 IS 350. May be it does fit however, K&N did not do any extensive dyno testing to confirm any benefits over the 2008.
Interesting K&N didn't test fit item in the 2008 - 2012 model years, but did include the 2013 model year.

If you have a 350 you could probably reverse them. Meaning put the larger sleeve on the throttle body. Since the 350 has a larger one compared to the 250. AFAIK some members have mentioned that it's difficult trying to put the 3.00" sleeve on.
Edit: The description of the sleeves qty 2 is 3.125" to 3.00". So one side could be used. As for the other you'll need a 3.00" to 3.00". This will ensure it fits correctly on the air box top.
