Is OV still developing a new turbo or did they scrap it?
I emailed them about this last week. The open tuning box will be back at some point but they did not mention anything about the turbo. I doubt they scrapped it.
They have probably pushed the project aside for now while they focus on getting the tunes worked out and polished. There are several of us waiting to purchase the tune until they get most of the kinks worked out so I'd imagine that is top priority.
Additionally, RR Racing may be releasing a full tune at some point in 2020. I'm sure they will also work on a turbo upgrade if the demand is there.

Thanks yeah same here i am on 1.01G-C and no issues on that tune. At least with that feedback, i know Its more common issue and not just my cars IAC with 1.02 setting faults. I usually only flash to 1.02 if i am going on a spirited drive on some back roads for an afternoon, it seems to be worse too when its colder like it is now, when its warmer i don't get the fault triggered as soon and can run it for a few weeks before it sets that fault.
I’m using 1.02 more more than 3 months and got no issues. I drive my IS daily.

The 1.02 tune is/was the strongest tune, but my car would go into limp mode and throw a code for throttle actuator range, so I reverted back to the 1.01 tune for now. Matt asked me to do some data logging but I haven't had the chance to make it back to the track yet to log some 1/4 mile runs.
It's a completely different car, i'm so stoked. Hoping I don't encounter any issues, thinking it may be prudent to keep my laptop and tuner in the car with me though!
Agreed 1.02 is much better for power and torque then 1.01. I love that tunes throttle response too, but for me in the warm months is the only time I can really run 1.02 without setting a fault, also I just keep a cheap code reader and clearer scan tool in my car for when it throws the code. In a pinch, you could use the OV software to read the code and clear it. For cold months like now, I just use 1.01G-C and I have 0 issues with that older tune but is considerably lower on power and torque. I have ordered a HPS intake pipe and K&N air filter but I seriously doubt that it will help with setting a fault on 1.02. Hopefully, OV will address this in their next release. (btw my car is an early build 16 so that might be some of my issues)
