Won't ever happen. They are having enough problems selling the RC-F, they wouldn't add another car to the lineup that would cannibalize it.

Maybe they see a better market opportunity than the one already dominated by the M3?

Correct, with about a 20k difference in price point. People will not cross shop an RC-F and GS-F.

The RC-F and IS-F would be identical pricing area.

Furthermore, the GS-F is overweight and underpowered for its segment. It will struggle to sell as well.

For me the weight weighs (hehe) more heavily on my buying decision than power.

Very pretty but outdated and why go backwards in technology and hp when comparing V8?

If the OP wants power for $, I'd look at a used CTS-V long before looking at a used IS-F.

While I love the IS-F and my Camaro lacks refinement (though I find my Camaro to be a very pretty car in itself), I could blow your doors off all day, every time.

Reliability will be slightly above 0 lol

I can't get over the V6. Nothing sounds "mean" about a V6 lol They can sound good, my wife's IS350 with an ARK sounds good, but still not scary like a lobbing V8

That's why I like the ATS...smaller and more nimble chassis.
