Has anyone had the PPE headers installed on their 14 IS350 F sport (RWD)? I have contacted PPE Engineering and was told by their rep Paul Prentis that their headers will fit the 2014. Since the wiring is a bit different , they have installation instructions for the O2 conditioner that comes with the headers.
If anyone have them, can you please detail the info:
-How long to install?
-Sound?
-Performance boost?
-Issues with any error lights in the dash?
-Dealer concerns?
According to their website, its a 16WHP increase (281wheel and 336 crank). COST: USD 732.00 (off road use only) and also available AWD USD 842.
Yes they are installed on my 2014 Lexus IS, very good and reliable never had a problem a lil over a year now. The only thing is i wasn't able to get off the check engine light because i think the wiring is setup a lil different from the 2IS but i wasn't worried about it nor did it affect my driving.
Didn't do the installation myself by roughly 2-3hrs
I didn't get my exhaust but i ran it a couple times without my stock exhaust and the sound was amazing i ended up putting back on my mufflers because i had nothing hold up my mid pipes
you will definitely hear and feel the difference once installed i totally recommend them and got them directly from ppe.
Sorry for the late reply guys guess i'm the only one running them haven't been online much lately.
The headers are more like a G when you add the cats and the coating. I've had my eyes on them for a minute. I hate dash lights. I came from the VAG arena and a cel was common think. No more bright orange especially on a lexus
i did order my ceramic headers from PPE !! i did ask them about cel and they told : " if it is installed correctly, no check engine light will come on. I can answer install questions if needed."
I'll have more to add to this shortly, just had mine installed, labor was 4 hours, sound is awesome and certainly feels quicker. I'll have more judgement as I drive some more, as when I drove home from the shop I was in traffic.

Please keep us updated if you run 1/4 miles? I wonder how fast?
