Default Joe Z Intake... where to buy?

Hey guys,

I have been reading a lot about which intakes people use and a lot of people have suggested the Joe Z intake...

Problem is I cannot find anywhere to purchase the intake. Is it still in production or has he stopped making them?

I have a 3is and tried sending Joe Z a PM, but his box is full.

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

I got mine through Mod In Japan. Hit up Tania Herrera (therrera@modinjapan.com) and see if they have any in stock.

It definitely sounds more aggressive. I love it. As many members here will say there won't be too much of a hp gain to notice.

Really? I read that because it doesn't use the sound generator so it is much quieter.

First off, I just noticed I read the title of the thread wrong. I thought for some reason it said Joe Z exhaust. I got a Joe Z exhaust and an aFe intake. But I'm sure you can still get the Joe Z intake from Mod In Japan. They ship really fast and have good customer service.

As for the sound of aftermarket intakes, I feel like it is quieter at lower RPMs, but once you hit 3k then it sounds really nice. I was worried about the sound being quieter from the removal of the sound generator, but I think with an exhaust combo everything sounds really good. Just my thoughts.

Ahh, that makes more sense.

ModInJapan said they don't have any right now and are hoping to get more sometime this month.

Hey guys,

We are receiving a HUGE batch of intakes and exhausts (hopefully) sometime this month. We have a bunch of people already lined up waiting for one, so email me to get on that list so I can notify you right away!

the joe z is just the tube. but with that, it's metal and is susceptible to heat soak.

the afe system is the whole system. plastic tube and open cone filter...and "heat shield."
