Default DC Sports Air Intake - 2IS

Hi all,

I just got my air intake from DC Sports on Ebay. I can't wait to get it to install it asap. Will post pics soon. Has anyone got noticeable sound, hp & torque differences/gains?

Thanks,

Assuming that the DC sports air intake is an open air intake, the sound will be very noticeable.

For HP and torque, the gains will be to little to notice.

Good to hear. It is an open air intake. My friend just got it for his Maxima and it sounds crazy. Can't wait to get it.

You'll enjoy the added grunt it gives off.

I finally got it installed after a long work week. I got to say - I love it. Car sounds and rides way different than stock. Even my dad noticed the difference LOL. Here are some pictures:

FYI, there's protective clear vinyl over the DC Sports emblem.

the added sound will definitely be noticeable. but any extra power, the gain is little to none, alot of times its the placebo effect and the louder sound makes you think its quicker

I agree with the power gain. However, I don't agree with the quickness. I do feel the car a lot quicker and responsive than when it was stock. Perhaps the placebo effect is so strongly affecting my twisted brain

I just recently got a takeda intake too, to me the sound is awesome but the response is slower than the stock air box... Everyone that been in my car before and after said the same.
