Note: This is not an official HKS kit for sale. This is a custom exhaust system made by a local shop here based on my specifications using authentic HKS universal mufflers.
Price: $690 for mufflers; the piping and labor cost around $450. Mufflers: HKS universal mufflers (Hi power stainless steel, Titanium 120mm tip).
The piping is 2.5". Painted flat black along with the mufflers.
Originally it started off as a catback system, but due to highway drone the stock resonators went back in. Now it sounds perfect (sound clip below)
Essentially, this is the same as removing your stock mufflers, but with the added sound of the HKS mufflers. The car feels great. Not sure if it gained any power. The mufflers are straight-through, unrestricted.
Trust me, you never want to take those resonators off unless you replace them with some aftermarket ones. It was terrible on the freeway around 2-2.5k rpm to the point where you can barely hear your passengers. And also embarressing because it's supposed to be a luxury car. And overall the exhaust sounded really loud in any RPM range, and by that I don't mean exciting loud, more like ricer loud. And not to forget the raspiness around 4-5k which sounded like a tin can inside of a pipe. Once I re-installed the resonators it was perfect. A bit on the quiet side from the interior (still louder than stock), but really nice on the outside.
Nah, I actually added the huge font "sound clip here" after you'd asked. The link was there but it wasn't noticeable.

Depends on your taste. I personally chose the biggest tip there is fill up the openings. I'm a fan of greddy/hks exhausts in general and they always have large tips. In person it looks great with it being titanium with the blue color, it stands out compared to the other exhausts and that's all i wanted, something no one has. They'd look even better with some nicer CF diffuser.
