Nothing new to report. Checked on my car today after work and it hasn't even been touched The guys said they'll be working on it all day tomorrow. They said that if all goes well, it should be done by tomorrow night. I told them not to rush as I want a clean job and done right the first time. Hopefully I can post up some pics tomorrow.

This is so whack!!! I went to check out my car after work again... It hasn't even been touched. Hopefully this doesn't turn into an everyday thing!

^Shops love to take on new business; but as far as the follow-through goes, it's a coin flip!

I hope you didn't pay for 100% of the bill up-front!

I've been going to this shop for many years and this is the first time they delay one of my projects like this. I haven't paid a thing nor do I know what the total is going to be as he said he would tell me later on once the project was complete. lol

Okay, well at least you've not paid them upfront. I guess you have another mode of transportation sense the Lex is in their garage? I miss the days having two cars I could choose from everyday; either stock Honda Civic or turbo Honda Civic.

Yeah I'm temporarily borrowing my dads escalade to get to and from work. This thing is a damn gas guzzler compared to my Lexus ha ha

Finally told them that my patience was wearing out and guess what... 30 minutes later they put it on the lift and started bolting up the intercooler to my bumper support. They cut the sheet metal right behind the headlight to pass the piping towards the intercooler. The portion that connects to the throttle body is in place and hopefully tonight we can work late and finish up some more piping and work our way towards the back of the car.

I'm half asleep at work today but super excited with yesterday nights progress! It should be finished up tonight

I noticed there is a bung that I can possibly tap the oil lines to. Would you guys recommend this as a usable oil source for the 2 turbos? Not sure if the oil pump would be able to push oil that far back and back to the motor.

NO, not unless you use 2 pumps and add about 1.5 qts of oil to your motor total. I personally would never use the same oil system for a rear mount turbo setup that feeds my motor...too many variables for something to go wrong.

Why aren't you doing your standalone oil system????
