Default Boosting with the twins... is250 turbo build

I had been thinking of doing a forced induction setup on my is250 for a couple months now but had never seen or heard of anyone do this to a 250/350. It all started after I saw a youtube video of a blue ISF with this setup. Earlier this week I stumbled upon a thread here on CL that kickstarted my idea and gave me the motivation to do this. Not even 24 hours after reading the thread I contacted a local turbo company called GODSPEED and I met up with them to discuss the build. I ended up picking up 2 T3 .48 internal wastegate turbos, an intercooler (27"x8"x2.5"), oil fittings, v clamps, t3 flanges and a Greddy blowoff valve. Yesterday I picked up a 1 gallon water meth tank that I'll be using for my oil supply as I won't be tapping into my engine's oil supply. I still need to purchase the external oil pump along with some more clamps and rubber couplings. Don't worry guys... I'll actually be completing my turbo build unlike most others that started and never finished. I'll be dropping my car off at the shop on Monday and all the custom manufacturing will start. Should be completed and running by next Friday if all goes well.

A little background... I got the engine overhaul done about 4500 miles ago and haven't had any issues with idling whatsoever, gas mileage is really great. Cruising from LA to Vegas I average about 32-35 mpg. Prior to that I was burning a crap ton of oil, gas mileage sucked and it would idle really rough at times.

I'm an impulsive buyer so as soon as I knew what I wanted I pulled the trigger before I backed out. lol

Time to remove those mufflers to see what room or lack thereof you have.

Best of luck to you!

Very nice! Two turbos are better than one! I did an install on my friends X Runner with a single and those are really nice kits. I liked the external oil reservoir set up, good idea. Good luck with the kit and enjoy "feelin the pull".

Not sure if the fuel pump is the best pump for the oil circulation on your setup there.

I'm currently running a full straight pipe exhaust system with no resonators or mufflers... I already checked and there is plenty of space where the OEM mufflers used to sit.

I'll be trying out the pump tomorrow morning to see if it'll have a nice flow with a couple quarts of 0-20. If that doesn't work... I'll just buy a scavenger oil pump.
