Thanks mike for the advice on the location of the MAF and bov. I gutted out the front bumper area where the intercooler will go. I'll see if there is a way to retrofit the brake ducts once the intercooler piping is installed.

In reference to the position of the vacuum line... I believe you're referring to the nipple that has a cover on it correct?

Yes! Use that nipple for a vacuum source. If you need an additional source then I'd suggest tapping a new one as shown above. Good deal

Just finished wiring up the switch that will automatically turn on the oil pump. I bought a universal radiator fan switch and instead of connecting the heat sensor, I rigged it so it'll always have power whenever the ignition is on. Came out really clean once I tucked all the wires in.

So how exactly will you have the recirculating oil system for the turbo plumed? Is the pump pumping oil into the turbo from the reservoir or is it taking the oil from the oil return back into the reservoir? Will you not need a pump to reform each action?

My plan this whole time is that the pump will get oil from the reservoir, pump it down to the turbos and it'll recirculate by itself back into the reservoir. Now that you mention it though... It may be best to connect the pump to the oil return back into the reservoir. Once the turbos get installed I'll double check to make sure one pump is enough for both turbos, if not I'll have to run one oil pump per turbo.

Nice progress! You're not messing around!
Gravity will help get oil from your tank down to the first turbo. I would put your pump just after the 2nd turbo as it should pull oil thru and back to the tank.

One pump should be plenty with a separate oil system. Rotrex uses a little gear pump and it does a fine job of pulling oil ....any true external scavenge pump should be capable for your application.

Whatever works in real time though..you'll have to do some trial and error before you're up and running.

I didn't know what to give myself for Christmas so this will be perfect.

I'll be dropping off my car off today after work and the fun will begin! Still reading up on what size piping to run. I see STS turbos uses 2.25" on their g35/350z setups. Any suggestions?

I was doing some more reading and I saw that a 350z owner posted that with 4 qts of oil his oil temp was about 165 degrees after about an hr of driving. I may have to purchase a bigger tank and also run an oil cooler.

^165 degrees is fine. In most engines ~200 degrees is steady state oil temperature.

Perhaps a remote-mounted oil cooler can be added to help with the turbo oil cooling? I pulled this up rather quick on ebay and it'll work, but perhaps too long? Anyhow, you get the idea.

Oh, add it'll be a good idea to run an in-line oil filter/screen before the turbos.

Thanks Gville! I didn't now oil coolers were that cheap.

Dropped the car off today after work and the guys started figuring out how to run the least amount of pipes with the least amount of bends. I'll check back tomorrow evening to snap some pics of whatever progress they've made.

Where are the turbo's being mounted? In the engine bay or turbo-back like that IS-F was a few years ago?

There is no space to put the turbos up front so they'll be going in the back where the stock mufflers used to be. Just like this:
