Default Lexus is250 performance chip

In about 4 months ill be getting a 2011 is250. Only downside to these cars are the low hp. I was looking to buy a chip for the car that doesn't interfere with the warranty, but i was wondering if there's anyone that has chipped their is250 and has any feedback? I heard performance chips dont work for is250's, but i need some feedback. Also if anyone that has a performance chip installed can tell me what kind they have, thanks!

if you love your car and love performance, then get headers, exhaust, intake, mid-pipe, and some handling mods such as strut bar, sway bar, sport coilovers, etc and enjoy the car for what it is.

if you are more interested in power which is nothing wrong, then look into upgrading to a 350 (or if thats not financially possible) other cars have more hp and are more mod friendly for the same price or less

Thanks for the fast responses guys. The car will be a gift from my parents, and the 350 is a lil expensive. Anyways thanks!

Yep, not much performance mods can be done to these cars. With the exception of Intake, Exhaust, Headers. Like RVCA said. ^^ Some members with 250's have worked super chargers into their cars but if you got that kinda money you could have rolled with a 350. Regardless of performance mods, they are nice rides put some wheels on it and some suspension

Im going to bump this thread because of everyone else who has made performance chip threads in the last 2 years.

Hey! Theres an ad at the bottom of the screen, lets see what it says!

"$69 car performance chips, 60 hp and 4-7 mpg fuel savings! Easy installation on ALL CARS!"
