Bully Dog has a chip for the tacoma and tundra that they say will get 25 HP and 30 Ft/lb. They say they have broke the toyota code. Would that mean that there is some hope for us?

I think for the decades toyota has been making sports cars not even the jdm companies have a reflash or " broke the code". So I'm sure that chip is a fake too

 

Well they are asking $1K for it so it better do something. It is really too bad, about 50 more HP would be a lot of fun. It would be nice to have some bragging rights on some of those German cars, other than our are more reliable then yours!

 

almost sounds like a rip off to me. once you are start gettting over the 1k mark, you might as well spend a couple hundred more and just get a straight up stand alone(with applicable vehicle that is)

The car is already "chipped" from the factory... its the PWR switch. Any chip you buy will basically do the same thing... it's not like the 2.5l is a torque monster that had to be detuned..

I think the biggest problem is people arent searching the forums, there is consistent questions about the same topic and I dont get why people cant just find their answers. If u wanna test out a chip go for it lol lmk the outcome.
