Hi guys, i was wondering if there are still any Super Charger kits still available for purchase by personal or company.

If anyone knows a list of compatible Super Charger kits and what psi to boost it. that would be great.

Thanks

P.S anyone got pictures of this custom "bracket" i need to make to fit the S/C in?

Thanks again IS Brotherhood.

Spend 5k on a 250 and still be slower than a stock 350.. ure better off trading in.

Check out my buddies Stews super charged 350 puts any boosted 250 to shame. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...350-dynod.html

I'll be the nice one here.....It's been discussed many times. There are NO over the counter s/c kits. LMS (Luxury Motorsports) used to make one but no longer do. They only sold a few at that. Cost is roughly 5K to do it. THis is why people say to get a 350 instead because you're guaranteed 100HP automatically vs. roughly about 50HP with a s/c on a 250. Use search and you can get threads that talk about it. You can only really do bolt on performance parts and at most you'll get about 25HP more.

You guys are so helpful haha

For the supercharger kits, you'd be better off doing a search here on CL to see what other people have used, then contact those companies to see if the kits are still in production. From the build threads I've seen from heyarms and the one or two other members who S/C'd their 250s, 7psi is a safe number, though I think most kits come with pulleys that support 4 or 5 psi.

you know, i am glad most of you are trying to help, but like i said, i want to get a supercharger for the IS250. Stop with all this trade in for a IS350 crap. I want something different. I happen to like to my IS250. So if you have some suggestion to which might help, thanks, but if not then please just stop with the insults.

Thank you.

They no longer make the v-9, I contacted vortech and they told me the next logical step is v-3 trim sci, what I want to know is what I ned to get if there is no kit. Also I was told by heyarms, the least I would need is a custom brackets. Any help with thoses?

Thanks

I read that in the other thread. My buddy is getting one installed as we speak. He had it at a shop in SO Cal who made the custom bracket. You can call them to find out what else along with custom pipipng. The shop is called Autogear.

O sweet, your buddy got the v3 sci? Wonder if he can dyno it and post some stats.

Again, thank you for helping out.

its not really different, its been done plenty of times before. i think what people are getting at is its not cost effective at all. im all about boost and all its glory but the cost vs hp ratio is so bad its not worth it. thats why folks say just get a 350 and you are for sure getting 100hp vs a 5k custom kit and maybe on a generous dyno 50hp. still wont even run with stock 350.

but if you want to do it just for the sake of doing, more power to you. post a build thread if you do

The 2IS forum is cluttered with people only worried about cheap replica body kits and replica wheels... And they're especially worried about how others spend their money You've heard what you're getting into, so it's your option to follow through with it. There will forever be someone faster than everyone so who cares... I have a pretty heavily built 2IS so the supercharger is only icing on the cake. I will likely never see another boosted 2IS at any car show here in the south

With that said, I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to respond to your PM's. ill try to see what pictures I have of the whole setup. Check Pepos's build thread and my own for some pictures, also there are pictures of the complete LMS kits in old for sale threads in the 2IS classifieds.

I'm using a procharger c2 blower and HKS ssqv blow off valve. There is also a complete LMS parts list in the 2IS section if you search for it. I suggest you do some searching on the forum first, I did a lot of it before I committed to it and then let me know what you didn't come up with.
