That swap looks cleaner than the original engine setup.

Hey man could you give me some dimensions from inside the shock tower to inside the shock tower and frame rail to frame rail. I have an idea on a conversion on a is250 and just wanted to see if it will work or not. Thank you for your time.

This is an old thread. Look a little bit further down on this page. You'll see a post thats more current and likely to get a response.

Hey do you mind mentioning here or PM'ing me how much this project has costed $? I am going to swap my engine some day, not sure when, but would really appreciate it if you could help inform me on exactly how much to expect to pay and if I can prepare for some things ahead of time, it would really help my desire to do the engine swap with the least amount of struggle. Thank you for any information and feel free to PM me if you want this to be kept private. Cheers,

I see it. Why you selling? Did you do most of the fabrication work yourself or did a shop do it or are you a shop yourself?

I tried to post the sale yesterday but it looks like it was taken down. I'll try again. But to answer your question, I did all the fab work myself which is here in the build thread. I'm not a great welder so I would mig stuff in my garage and then take it to a tig welder to finish but other than that I pretty much did it all myself. Ultimately, it was my daily driver for over 5 years but I just don't drive it or get to enjoy it enough anymore to justify it taking up my garage. Now I need the garage space and money becuase my daughter just got her license and I need to start looking for a car for her.

Let me try this again, tried posting yesterday but I think it was taken down:

I'm sad to say that the time has come to pass my baby along to a new owner. This community was such an integral part of this project and I appreciate every comment, reply, and like that you all contributed. I can't believe it has been almost 11 years since my first post. It was my daily driver for over 5 years but I just don't drive it or enjoy it enough anymore to justify it taking up my garage. My daughter, who used to sit in a car seat in the backseat, just got her license and now it's time to clear up some garage space and funds so I can buy a car for her. I am mildly terrified because it's a no reserve auction so I hope that the build quality speaks for itself and it goes to a good home for a fair price. I know this car has many years of good times ahead of it. Please help me out by sharing the auction link and spreading the word.
