i have a cusco catch can laying around would it do any benifit towards my is250 ?? really helped on my g35 .. I just want my 250 to run the best it can .. Ive came across a thread some one said yes and the other said no useless lol kinda hard to find info on this engine . I just want to make sure if i install im not messing up anything or by installing it causing future damage
i dont see a benefit running one on these cars. might do more harm than good. i would love to add a bit more of engine bling in my engine bay but not if it's not functional or maybe even harming the car.
A catch can will not hurt your engine. However, they are typically more effective on older engines where blow blow by is more prevalent.
No vacuum leak, confirmed with a few others running the same setup the increased hissing noise (very minor). Yes it worked in catching blow by, but ultimately removed it

Sealed - it was a DIY home depot catch can using a husky part. Granted if i had bought an expensive one, maybe there would have been no hissing.
