Engine restorer
yes actually i did. it made a pretty decent difference in my 01 430 i did it around 97k and it brought my car back to life. i used a BG product it might have been the 44k. the stuff is expensive and did run me like $37 but it was well worth it.

i was told this by a mechanic once. as the engine gets older, some of the gunk gets into places causing a better seal. this better seal also bumps up the compression a bit more. if u run one of those engine cleaner solutions, it breaks down that gunk, breaks down whatever seals its made, and so possibly can cause more problems than the product tries to fix.
it makes a bit of sense, its why there are "break in" periods for new motors, besides getting all the components to work together out of a new motor, it builds up the seals.

I've always added a can to my engine oil after every oil change. Nothing went wrong and it made a difference, idle became a little smoother after applying it, or it could just be the new engine oil lol. but its all about the placebo effect.
maybe i'll stop using it.

I WOULD NEVER USE THIS IN MY CAR!!!
I'VE SEEN CARS THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AND THE INSIDE OF THE MOTOR LOOKS LIKE BRAND NEW, AND MANY HAVE BEEN OVER 175k! NEVER NEVER USE THIS STUFF!

Im thinkin about using this but the thing is i might have bad piston rings, or maybe just some gunk built up under the seals and its causing excessive blow by at full throttle. its kinda embarassing to be in a lexus and have this problem.
