Talking pics reply

Here are the pics. Had a camera guru with a great Sony. Hope the pics show well. The car is a blast! (how's 380 ft. lbs RWTQ @ 3700 RPM w/only 8.5 lbs boost!) Anything under 65 degrees outside and I can't keep the car on the ground. Nothing but smokin' tires anywhere in first gear! A few little minor "tweaks" and it'll be consistent mid-upper 12's @ 110-114 mph. I need sticky tires though.!! Large shots are in the Club Lexus Member Gallery!!

Thumbs up

Hay MRSYPHER,
Appreciate the welcome. Noticed in your sig/profile your Lex 300? appeared to have nice bright "blue" lights for the "mid/hibeam"
If so what kind are they? I don't care for the regular bulbs, and the PIAA's super white still are a little on the yellow side. BTW, if they are different lights, how is the hi-beam performance at nite?? appreciate the info!

But what makes the inner lights Blue like that are Piaa blue LED's... If you haven't upgraded your HID's do it you won't be sorry.... 6000K all the way...

Congrats to Ken! That's #2 of the 4 horsemen!

Mariusz - your car is on a whole other level! Don't worry, it will be worth the wait!

Hey LexCiting,

How is your TT doing and where is the present HP & TQ figures? Is your boost controller "rock steady" @ holding the boost to your desired level? Ever done a 1/4 mi. e.t. with the Blitz controller? If so how quick? We'll talk soon.

Ken - No problems at all with the setup! My gas mileage has decreased a little, but that maybe from my WOT the car, every chance I get! My numbers are 437.4 rwhp/458.3lbs, and I am at 11lbs of boost max at this point. I have finished breaking in my pistons/engine, so now I just need to put on my fuel regulator, and increase the boost up. I usually drive it at 8lbs of boost max, and have enjoyed a couple of kills (Z06,Bpu+ Supra, etc). I took it for a spin a couple of days ago, and increased the boost to 11lbs, and WOT it at 75mph, and guess what?!?!?! The backend came out on me on the highway! Can we say "TOO MUCH POWER" !!! (Blitz indicated 10.9lbs) Well, I'll say it! LOL! I'll leave the high boost levels with Mariusz's car. Now, the temp of the road was low (30 degrees at night), so that may have played a part. As far as holding boost, the Blitz controller seems to be doing its job, at holding the boost. Sometimes it will spike maybe .2 to .4 past the set boost level, but it seems to correct that quickly. I haven't had any overboost warnings. I haven't had a chance to try the 1/4 mile feature on the Blitz powermeter yet. (Snow is on the streets)

I am still going to increase the boost, and get it to the track, but I need 1) better tires in the back 2) Practice my takeoffs!

Enjoy the setup!

Hey Lexciting,

Enjoyed your post! I'would love to go up to 11 lbs but I need to make sure my engine is 100% reliable otherwise my wife will DIVORCE me!!! Therefore I will keep my 8.5 lbs and finish my other HP tweaks. I'd love to have a Supra BPU kill (as you have), but with all my weight, probably unrealistic! I have to envy a little where you are going to end up when you go 15 lbs of boost. That is just absolutely too much fun for such a luxury ride!!! Congrats on a truly one of a kind TT!! BTW what are the plans for Maruisz? Do you know?

Well, from what I have been told is being done, Mariusz's car will be the fastest out of all of us, and wil be able to hold more power in the engine. 8lbs is plenty for my tastes, but it is nice to know that I can dial up the boost if I want to. Did you know that you can program the Blitz controller to set the boost at specific Mph's? That would probably allow you to get around hitting the rev limiter.
