That would be a huge help thanks Mitsuguy. I was going to wire the aem in conjunction with my factory ecu, perhaps i'd be better off running it as a full standalone. What seems to be the easier swap in your opinion? There are so many posts surrounding this swap but none that are black and white, some say remove resistor R2 and R4, others say R14 and R16 etc. Giving me a headache.

Does the wiring also work on an Aristo ECU.. Obviously the pin outs arent the same, but every pin should be more or less there if they are in the IS300 ECU.

Does a 6050 box need to do some internal resistor mods?

Yes, it will work exactly the same. Some Aristo ECU's have the exact same pinout as the 01 IS also.

The 6050 can get away with just changing jumpers internally so long as you run separate intake temp and coolant temp sensors.

Hey mitsuguy, Very helpful and detailed write up. I am looking to swap a 1JZ-GTE into my 2002 IS300.
Got a question about this your setup in regards to ODB-II emissions. Does your setup trow any CEL codes? I live in an area that requires ODB-II emission. Thanks.

It is technically possible, but modifications will have to be made to simulate the IGF signal (p1300 defeat), rear o2's will need to be simulated and possibly even fronts.

Any thoughts on running latter model GE ecu with the aristo ecu? I would like the possibility of running the aristo trans with a 2003 GS300 NA-T setup.

Did anyone ever get the fuel gauge situation working? I just bought a swapped one and it has the same issue.

Nothing about the fuel gauge? I still have this annoying problem.
