Default Takeda Air Intake

Anyone have one? how do you like it? i saw a set on Amazon for 216 and really tempted to get one. Either that or spent another 100 for F-Sport.

I think the Takeda is the best short ram out there. I recently got mine from Amazon for $210 since I got approved for their store credit card lol. As soon as I installed it, I noticed a deeper idle sound and I already had an intake before but it was a $70 eBay one. Overall, I'm quite happy with it and it's pretty loud too. The intake has a heat shield too and is good in quality except for the hose clamp to the throttle body.

You can get an F-Sport intake on eBay for $286 shipped from Lexus of Orange County or something like that. Check it out.

only thing better about the F Sport is the CA CARB exempt sticker it comes with. you can buy one at the dealer for about $5

Does your engine covers still fit on with the Takeda on the car? I would want a little more stealth look in case anything were to happen lol.

I didnt have any problem with mine, but I've read that a few other members had an issue with the tube being too short.

I had the same problem with my Fujita intake. I ended up getting some vacuum tubing from Advance Auto and bent it in like some S-bend shape in order so it not to collapse since the stock pipe is custom formed. I believe I got 2 ft of tubing to be safe and use 1.5 ft of it.

Does the F-Sport Intake have any sound as you accelerate?
